The Lipids&Liver Group major aims are to advance in understanding the role of the lipids and lipoproteins in cell function and human disease (non-alcholic fatty liver disease, cardiovascular diseases), improve technologies for progress in the lipidomic area, facilitate the development of treatment for diseases caused by abnormalities in the lipid metabolism, and to train the next generation of scientists who will continue working on the subject. The Lipids&liver group has trained many members who are now running their own Research Groups, reaching the rank of Lecturer, and working in biotechnology companies or in other Universities.

We invite students for joining us and carrying out research and Doctoral Thesis in this field. Almudena Tejera is in charge of student recruitment to the Lipids&Liver Group.
